How SomniCheck Works
SomniCheck has been designed to provide the simplest application and use for all patients. After cleaning the forehead, the patient removes the paper backing exposing the adhesive. The patient then applies SomniCheck to their forehead between the eyebrows and hairline. The device is self activated and immediately starts recording, no buttons or switches. The patient can comfortably enjoy a good night of sleep, with no straps, bands, finger probes, or cannula in their nose.
While You Are Sleeping
SomniCheck takes samples of 7 physiologic signals. The signals are transmitted through an app installed on the patient's phone for analysis.
When You Wake-Up
Simply remove SomniCheck from the forehead and throw it away.
When are Results Available
The signals and a computer based analysis are typically available to a medical professional within a very short period of time after the device is removed.
